Job Description
-You will be joining a tech hub in Maidenhead who work with our sister site in South Africa.

The team is growing right now, and we are recruiting for 4 software engineers.

We are keen to speak to you if you have experience of Windows development and used to working in an agile way with a ‘how do we get better’ mindset. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a best in class team who are world leaders in the field.

Qualifications
-Formal qualifications:

• BSc. or MSc. or equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline, MIEE, BCS or other relevant professional body
• Technically self-sufficient in Windows application development (in C#)
• Key software development skills

Additional requirements:

• Complete life cycle experience from initial specification through unit design, test, integration, system test, commission, regulatory approval and production
• Software development in an Agile team
• Experience of Windows development with C#
• Experience of motion control systems and motor driving

Role-specific knowledge:

• Develop code using best practice object oriented software design techniques throughout the software lifecycle e.g. DRY, SOLID, YAGNI, etc.
• Familiar with the use of source control systems (GitHub) and automated software building (Azure DevOps)
• Familiar with test driven development (TDD) practices for developing code
• Familiarity in network communication protocols, IEEE802 family, TCP/IP
• Desirable – Industrial IoT protocols and services.
• Desirable – embedded software development (in ‘C ‘on Atmel and ARM processor families) – dependent on project requirements
• Desirable – PC architectures, Window and Linux operating systems
• Desirable – C# Web application development
