Job Description
-We are now recruiting for a Finance Systems Support Specialist based in our Brisbane office. Primary purpose of the role is to support the Accounting Services team to deliver their services in the most efficient and effective way using SAP S/4 Hana, whilst identifying viable improvements. Performing root cause analysis on business process related problems, will be a key component of this role.

This role will be rewarding, varied and will include:

• Identify improvements, including how to leverage standard SAP S/4 HANA FICO Finance functionality in the Global Shared Services (GSS) Accounting Services business processes
• Translate business needs into solution architecture requirements and understand how to articulate these requirements to the Global Information Management (IM) team and developers
• Ongoing coaching of, and support to GSS business users
• Process flow mapping and work instruction creation
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Work closely with IM key support and AMS developers during enhancement and system upgrades
• Proactively work with the business to identify opportunities for process redesign, improvement, and development whilst monitoring these enhancements post go-live ensuring success.
• Develop related Functional Design documentation for Change Requests (Projects, system enhancements)
• Master Data Management where appropriate including maintenance of the Chart of Accounts and regular review
• Perform root cause analysis on system issues raised by GSS or the business
• Support and promote integration relationships between IM and GSS
• Provide timelines for specific tasks assigned
• Provide end-user support especially during month end close

Qualifications
-Key to your success will be your:

• Knowledge of SAP FICO procedures, standards, and controls.
• Experience in SAP Finance including S/4 HANA experience
• Demonstrated experience working within a team and external developers to deliver against set targets
• Demonstrated knowledge in GL, AP, Procurement, Cost and Profit Centre Accounting, Fixed Assets, Internal Orders, Consolidations, Accounts Receivables and Taxes
• Knowledge of JVA Joint Venture Accounting advantageous
• Knowledge of Blackline and SAP VIM advantageous
• Experience with FICO integration with other process modules, including Sales and Materials Management.
• Experience with working with interfaces with SAP.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities
