DCT Chambers Trucking is hiring 1 Lead Hand/local Class 1 driver in Castlegar!

• We are hiring for 1 full time position primarily driver duties with lead hand duties assisting our Area Manager/Safety Supervisor including various operational duties.

This position would suit a professional and motivated person that has demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills as well as critical thinking/decision making strengths. This position will provide an opportunity for the successful applicant to show the value they can add to our operations group. On the job mentoring provided.

Requirements:

• Class 1 License with Air
• Super B experience an asset, not a requirement
• 53 Foot Quad trailer experience an asset
• Chip truck experience an asset, not a requirement
• Mountain and winter driving experience
• Physical capabilities to carry out the requirements of the job
• Clean Commercial Drivers Abstract
• Professional, safe, and reliable
• Passport / ability to enter the U.S.
• Previous management experience an asset, not a requirement
