DCH Health System Hiring for Floor Care Tech – Fayette, AL at Fayette, AL Full Time

Utilize several different styles of machines/tools to maintain/sustain the different surfaces in Fayette Medical Center. Follow established policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout Fayette Medical Center.

• Request and receive housekeeping supplies and equipment from supply room and prepare cleaning solutions according to policies and procedures.
• Clean equipment daily; ensuring that all items are returned in an orderly manner.
• Maintain all assigned areas in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
• Respond to emergency calls or request for housekeeping services.
• Gather refuse from various locations and transports to appropriate locations, i.e. incinerator, compactor, following established sanitation procedures. To include cleaning waste receptacles.
• Furniture transporting for assigned areas.
• Replenishes supplies such as paper towels, soap, toilet tissue, etc; as needed.
• Ensures safe clean attractive environment for patient, residents, staff and family members at all times.
• Ability to operate machines to complete floor striping and scrubbing.
• Ability to perform floor scrubbing, striping and refinishing.

• Requires use of electronic mail, time and attendance software, learning management software and intranet.
• Must adhere to all DCH Health System policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
• Able to comprehend, follow both, verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to understand, follow both, training and in-service education. No previous experience required
