Daye North America Hiring for Accounting Manager Job at Charlotte, NC Full Time

Company Overview:

Daye is one of the largest and fastest growing manufacturers of outdoor power equipment with distribution to many large-scale US retailers. We are significantly expanding our US footprint to support our rapidly growing distribution model and establishing ourselves in Charlotte is just the next step.

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Accounting Manager who embodies a “can do” attitude and is willing to wear many hats as we transition from third party accounting partner, implement a new ERP system and establish proper processes.

Must be able to communicate in Mandarin (written and oral) with Parent company overseas.

Essential Functions:

• Assume responsibility for all accounting functions including:
• accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections
• accounts payable
• general accounting and bookkeeping

• Calculate & record journal entries.
• Process accounts payable & accounts receivable.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
• Update and maintain fixed asset transactions.
• Compile monthly reporting package.
• Reconcile bank accounts.
• Maintain historical records by filing documents.
• Ad hoc analysis as required.

Skills and Abilities:

• Must be proficient in Excel and have ERP experience, Microsoft Business Central is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills within a diverse team environment
• Ability to comprehend the overall concept while paying attention to detail.
• Must be able to interact and communicate cross functionally.
• High attention to detail, accuracy in work product, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines and coordinate multiple activities required.

Qualifications:

• 5+ Years of relevant finance and accounting experience including audit experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in a Consumer Products company is preferred, but not required.
• Strong MS Office skills
