Dawn InfoTek Inc. Hiring for QA/QC Test Engineer – ETL Testing at Greater Toronto Area, ON Full Time

We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of Sr.QA Analyst to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks.

Contract Duration: 6 months depending on the start date
Extension: Yes, up to 2 years
FTE: Possible

Responsibilities:

• Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
• Test system modifications for areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
• Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
• Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen and database validations
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
• Develop, maintain and communicate (stakeholder presentation) delivery status, KPI and metric scorecards, quality checks and knowledge management solutions.
• Perform test execution and present roadmap as needed.

Must Have skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Analyst/Engineer or related field
• 5+ years of experience with SQL/PL SQL
• 5+ years of experience in data migration and ETL testing
• 3+ years of experience in API and file transfer testing

Nice to Have skills:

• UNIX scripting and file processing
• Big data processing experience
• Experience using Spark and Scala

Soft skills:

• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in Agile delivery methodology and ceremonies

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55.00-$80.00 per hour
