Customer Service Representative

Growing construction and home services contractor is looking for a skilled problem solver to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer issues and offer both empathy and proactive solutions to the customer’s needs. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong and demonstrated ability to interact enthusiastically and politely with customers, be well trained in the art of customer service and willing to problem solve to help meet each customer’s unique needs.

Customer Service Representative responsibilities and duties include:

• Answering incoming customer calls regarding the scheduling of service calls and quoted work
• Scheduling customers in a geographic & time-sensitive manner
• Maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller
• Updating customer information in the dispatch software during and after each call
• Working with the management team to stay updated on service offerings and be informed of any changes in company policies
• Impacting the company’s bottom line by problem solving and turning frustrated clients into repeat customers
• Working with estimators and project managers to create, send and schedule residential projects
• Working with field technicians to ensure they have the information and tools necessary to complete their work daily

Customer Service Representative qualifications and skills

• Previous customer service experience a must; both in person and over the phone experience preferred
• Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to problem solve to ensure the needs of each customer are met
• Ability to pivot when necessary to complete tasks that arise on the spur of the moment while not losing sight of the previous task that needs to be completed
• Organizational skills are a must in our fast-paced and ever changing environment
• Previous work in construction or home services preferred
