Davies Stewart Hiring for Junior Project Manager at Greater Adelaide Area Full Time

About the role:

Davies Stewart are seeking an excellence driven, hands-on Project Manager whom takes pride in delivering at the highest standards to join the fabulous team at their new Adelaide CBD office!

Working closely with the Project manager and Construction Manager in this industry recognised company for design, innovation and quality; you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of existing and up and coming projects.

With a wide variety of services offered across the Industrial, Commercial, Residential and Retail spaces, no two days will be the same!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of Project Plans, including Special Procedures and Inspection s as required
• Liaise with stakeholders (clients, tenants, subcontractor, etc) to obtain necessary documentation such as contract variations, ITP’s, safety documentation and quality information to be stored in Procore and SharePoint
• In conjunction with the Project Managers, ensure that all projects/sites are compliant with all relevant building codes and regulations, assisting with the gathering of this information
• Obtaining the necessary permits, licences and approval for construction and demolition works from relevant authorities
• Review, maintain and update plan documentation including distribution to relevant parties for the purposes of tendering, pricing and providing information.
• Order materials and equipment necessary for works
• Site attendance to objectively assess progress and provide certification for the progressive claims submitted by suppliers and subcontractors
• Preparation with the relevant Manager/Director for the approval to allow subcontractors onto site

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum three years’ experience in a Contract Administration role within the construction industry
• High level of computer literacy, with experience using Procure and SharePoint
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare minutes from site meetings for distribution
• Excellent personable skills, proven experience with liaising with a variety of contractors, stakeholders, Project Managers, etc
• Attention to detail, with the responsibility of entering in sensitive information
