Creation and making of gelato, sorbetto’s semifreddo’s and other frozen desserts. Ability to accurately follow and/or balance existing recipes as well as create new ones.
Balancing and rebalancing abilities are essential required skills. The position includes at times and as required assisting the pastry chef with various activities including but not limited to her daily tasks and creations. Additionally, you will maintain the laboratory, working areas and equipment in acceptable, clean, and sanitized condition at all times. Cleanliness and organization is of the outmost importance.
The position includes maintenance and balancing of related inventories, products, ingredients as well as ingredient and product ordering and including related administrative activities.
