David Yurman is looking for an experienced Senior Director, Talent Acquisition (TA).
The company is experiencing strong growth, and we are looking for a seasoned Sr.
Director who is energized to lead a fast-paced Talent Acquisition function during this
exciting period.

The Sr. Director role will support the organization’s corporate recruitment functions,
sourcing talent for roles within our Creative, Merchandising, PR/Marketing, Product
Design & Development, Retail Operations, E-Commerce, IT, HR, Finance, Legal, etc. –
from early career to senior/executive positions. The TA Director will also oversee our
priority IT/Tech roles recruitment initiatives.
The TA Sr. Director will partner with hiring managers and other internal stakeholders to
hire best in class and diverse talent for the organization, and deliver an engaging,
responsive and positive experience to candidates, as part of a successful employee
journey.

The TA Sr. Director will have frontline access to executives and their teams. The ideal
candidate will have demonstrated ability aligning business objectives to workforce
strategies and be willing and able to roll up their sleeves and “problem-solve” anything
that comes their way. The TA Director/Sr. Director plans, develops, directs recruitment
processes and works with management to understand current and future recruitment
needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Build effective and productive working relationships with People & Culture
  colleagues, internal stakeholders and clients at all levels of the organization
• Lead the TA team to support of our organization’s recruitment needs
• Partner with business leaders to implement our TA strategy and remain in
  alignment with company goals, including diversity and inclusion goals.
• Ensure all recruiting activities are consistent with our organization’s policies and
  standards
• Partner with the HRBP and Total Rewards teams to work through complex offers
• Review and analyze data (benchmarking with industry and peers) to identify
  trends and to recommend solutions to improve TA Team’s processes and
  operations
• Track key TA metrics; identify and address areas for improvement and provide
  analytics ing to senior leadership
• Lead sourcing strategies to build strong and diverse talent pipelines to satisfy our current as well as future hiring needs

Early careers recruitment:

• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with alumni, diversity organizations and student associations, colleges and job boards
• Oversee the annual Summer Internship program recruitment process (from sourcing to onboarding) with a focus on identifying top and diverse early career talent
• Participate to the development and launch of other early career initiatives (coop program, campus fairs, social media presence, campus ambassadors’ program, etc.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Human Resources, Organizational Development, etc.). Master’s degree preferred but not required
• 10+ years of progressive HR and TA experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment required
• Luxury retail, Big Tech, and/or top agency recruitment experience a strong plus
• The position is based in New York City, and the company currently operates under a hybrid working model

• Experience with ATS (Clear, Workday knowledge a plus); experience with ATS migration/implementation a plus

• Sound knowledge of labor regulations, sourcing techniques/tools (e.g. professional platforms, social networks)

• Experience with budget management, as well as ing and analytics related to key deliverables

Working mode: Hybrid (3 days/week in office, 2 days remote) NYC

Estimated salary range: $175,000-$200,000

Base pay is one component of David Yurman’s total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
