David Jones Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist Job at Melbourne Full Time

The role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is accountable for leading and executing on a diverse mix of recruitment assignments across the David Jones and Country Road Group support centre teams.

As part of a highly valued Talent Acquisition function, this role will collaborate with leadership teams and HR Business Partners to support business and people service streams to deliver workforce requirements now and into the future. You will work closely with functions such as technology, finance, digital & analytics and marketing as we identify a diverse mix of talent to ensure future success of David Jones.

Based in Melbourne with a hybrid mix of time in the office and from home, this role will suit a highly commercial, driven, adaptable and solution orientated TA professional looking to make a real impact.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Partner with business leads on their recruitment needs and provide solutions to identify high quality talent
• Identify strategies considering appropriate group D&I initiatives
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience
• Identify efficient ways of working to improve the recruitment process and ensure quality results for each assignment
• Work with cross functional teams on People (HR) and business wide projects
• Act as a brand custodian for David Jones with each candidate interaction

The Ideal Candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Demonstrated experience across talent attraction/engagement space preferably within fast paced environments
• Proven success delivering end to end recruitment assignments in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for delivering exceptional candidate experiences
• Experience utilising HRIS, ATS/AMS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools
• High level interpersonal and communications skills to enable strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Experience in developing talent pools in core and critical areas
• A continuous improvement mindset
• A desire to work across broad talent projects and deliver solution orientated outcomes
