The role

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and candidate resourcing support across a busy, high performing and close-knit Talent Acquisition team for David Jones/Country Road Group. In this diverse role, you will be involved in activities linked to providing outstanding recruitment experiences for our applicants and hiring managers across the organisation. Reporting to the National Talent Acquisition Manager, you will partner with key areas of the organisation including retail management teams, peer People (HR) functions and external third-party providers.

Based in Melbourne with a hybrid mix of time in the office and from home, this role will suit a people orientated and customer centric individual in the early stages of their career looking to join a high performing team in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Act as a key point of contact for candidates via careers inbox and new employees during the onboarding process
• Provide front-line support in the daily operation and maintenance of our recruitment systems
• Produce weekly and adhoc reporting along with monthly dashboards
• Provide candidate screening support across key roles including proactive talent pooling and engagement as per team needs
• Coordinate key recruitment initiatives including recruitment and TA team event/meetings
• Coordinate onboarding requirements including offer acceptance, orientation booking and notifications
• Play a key role in coordinating and documenting all TA projects and process improvement initiatives

• Intermediate Excel skills to support in developing and pulling reports for analysis
• An ability to understand complex data and present to others in simple terms
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and are highly organised
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements
• Tertiary qualified within a business/commerce or similar area highly regarded
• Experience in a recruitment environment including use of recruitment systems would be beneficial
