We take pride in our products and services that meet the needs of the residential, commercial, government, and enterprise markets. We are a design, manufacturer, and wholesale distribution company specialising in locks, associated hardware, and access control systems. With the growth of our business in recent years, we are creating a new role “Marketing Communications Specialist” to support the marketing and sales teams. This is a key role that focuses on the execution of the national marketing and product plans. 

We are completely flexible with work from home (WFH) arrangements for the successful candidate. After the initial onboarding and training, the option is available to WFH permanently, unless travel to the office or interstate is required (such as a trade event or a photo/video shoot).

About You

We are looking for a proactive and passionate marketing professional to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. You will have at least 5 years experience across digital marketing, communications, event management, and trade/B2B marketing.  

This is a very hands-on role and will require you to be the lead on many marketing projects and product releases from setting the communication strategy, internal communications, collateral (including briefing graphic and AV design teams), attending a limited amount of trade expos, and working with the sales teams to drive campaigns. 

Your knowledge and experience in digital platforms will be one of your strengths. You will be Davcor’s lead on SEO/SEM (organic and paid ads), email and marketing automation, CRM, and social media planning. 

How you’ll support the team

• Work with the product and marketing teams to write and prioritise plenty of engaging content across our sales and marketing channels
• Brief design teams on projects, review and approve 
• Support the Head of Marketing in developing, executing & measuring B2B marketing campaigns/projects
• Take the lead on coordinating industry events and trade shows
• Work on SEO and SEM with best practice optimisation to get great results
• Maintain our marketing platforms to keep our above industry open/click rates high and onboard new customers
• Prioritise the production of content that can be used across our digital platforms (e.g. blogs, eDM’s, video, case studies, social posts, digital ads, product & brand collateral)
• Monitor website and social media pages 

What are we looking for?

• Experience using and maintaining a digital marketing platform such as MailChimp or Active Campaign
• Experience with digital ads campaigns and optimisations (e.g. Google, Facebook, LinkedIn)
• Experience in SEO/SEM (e.g. Google Search Console and various paid platforms) 
• Hands on experience with web content management systems like WordPress desirable
• Great attention to detail
• Great copy writing abilities (B2B products ideal)
• Confidence to work with people across all levels in an organisation
• Great verbal communication skills
• Able to multi-task projects

Requirements for applying for this role; 

• Previous experience in a similar marketing role (B2B Marketing highly regarded)
• Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related business discipline ideal
• Experience in digital marketing platforms 
• Experience in content creation / copy writing
• Experience in social media marketing 
• Australian citizens or permanent residents only.
