Our client is an industry leading prime supplier to the Defence industry! They are looking for a Software Engineer to fill a 6 month inside IR35 contract role. This role is fully remote and will require some visits to Worcester or Epsom.

As a Software Engineer, you will work on the delivery of custom applications and to migrate old applications to new technologies. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Software Engineering role, focused in .NET Core using C#

• Deliver custom applications and migrate old applications to new technologies
• Work with Web Apps, Hybrid Connections, Storage, Application Insights, Containerization, Azure Active Directory, Azure Automation, Key Vault and SQL Database

• .NET Core using C#
• Entity Framework Core
• Razor Pages
• Blazor
• JavaScript

The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:

• At least 2+ Experience with Azure cloud services
• Experiences with on-premises SQL services
• A successful history of using DevOps best practises including backlog management, Source Control (Git), Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) with Azure DevOps.
