The client is a world-class engineering consultancy operating in the Defence, Government & National Security sectors. They are a projects-based business so there will be a wide variety of internal opportunity matched to your expertise and opportunities to try new things.
Your technical and software development background will allow you to understand new systems, domains and prototype systems based on your research.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out research on new systems, domains & prototype systems.
- Build computer vision and/or image processing systems.
- Flexibility to work across a variety of projects.
Skills & experience
- Experience of software development, including software engineering best practices (such as version control and testing).
- Experience using scikit-learn, OpenCV, Tensorflow and PyTorch (Python desirable).
The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:
- Experience building computer vision or image processing systems.
