Role Description

This is a remote contract / freelance opportunity for a Data Annotator. The Data Annotator will be responsible for labeling, categorizing, and tagging datasets used to train and improve AI models. Daily responsibilities include reviewing data for quality assurance, maintaining annotation accuracy and consistency, and following project-specific guidelines.

The role may also involve collaborating with AI and data teams to improve annotation workflows and contribute to the development of high-quality datasets for AI applications such as natural language processing, speech recognition, and generative AI systems.

This position offers flexible working hours and is suitable for candidates seeking part-time, freelance, or project-based remote work.

Qualifications

• Experience with data annotation, labeling, categorization, or content review tasks
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high accuracy and consistency
• Basic understanding of AI, machine learning, or generative AI concepts
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Experience using annotation platforms or data labeling tools is a plus
• Familiarity with spreadsheets, collaborative tools, or project management platforms is an advantage
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or relevant education is a plus
• Multilingual ability is a plus, especially English, Chinese, Japanese, or French
