Dart Container Hiring for Teamcenter/Web Systems Engineer at Mason, MI Full Time

You’ll work a hybrid schedule of 3 days on site at our corporate office in Mason, Michigan, and up to 2 days remote.

We have the ability to hire at the Mid or Senior level. This position has a Teamcenter focus for this role.

The Teamcenter/Web Systems Engineer is responsible for administration, maintenance, analysis, and infrastructure work on Web and business-productivity related systems.

Day-to-Day Role:

• Evaluate, implement, analyze, and maintain changes to business productivity and web solutions such as Teamcenter, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Project Server, Linux, Salesforce, and/or other SaaS products
• Lead projects from a technical perspective
• Act as a point of escalation for service ticket and problem resolution
• Keep abreast of new technology developments and make recommendations regarding changes to current standards and solutions as appropriate
• Work with Dart Teamcenter Developers to deploy customizations including those with T4S, NX, Workflow, BMIDE templates, Stylesheets, preferences, dll’s, and validation
• Work with project manager, administrators, and developers to coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of Teamcenter upgrades and enhancements

In addition to the above, the Senior level will:

• Administer, monitor, and manage Teamcenter environments
• Provide a source of expertise in incorporating and implementing Web solutions including, but not limited to, Linux, and Salesforce and other SaaS products
• Evaluate, implement, and maintain changes to Web solutions including, but not limited to, Linux, and Salesforce and other SaaS products
• Provide support in enhancing the Web Systems Infrastructure’s operation and performance
• Act as final point of escalation for service ticket and problem resolution
• Work closely with other members of the Web Technologies Team to ensure the success of the teams’ duties and responsibilities
• Support infrastructure and administration needs of other CMS tools, such as Umbraco or Bloomreach
• Provide mentorship and training to associate and mid level Web Systems Administrators
• Act as a final escalation point for technical issues on the Web Administration Team

Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal Mid-level candidate must possess all of the following:

• Three (3) years of experience in administration of Siemens PLM Environments
• Two (2) years of experience with creating and managing shell scripts (PowerShell, bash, etc.)

The ideal Senior level candidate must possess all of the following:

• Six (6) years of experience in administration of Siemens PLM Environments
• Three (3) years of experience with creating and managing shell scripts (PowerShell, bash, etc.)

In addition to the above requirements, both levels must possess all of the following:

• Requires one of the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in computer science, web development, information systems or related field of study, OR
  • Associate’s degree in computer science, web development, information systems or related field of study and six (6) years of IT experience, OR
  • High school diploma or equivalent and twelve (12) years of IT experience

• Technical experience in a Windows-based operating system and support role
• Experience implementing and/or managing Teamcenter Unified Architecture Environments
• Knowledge of virtualization, Active Directory, Exchange, and SQL Server
• Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal and external customers
• Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
• Ability to collaborate with team members
• Ability to exhibit creativity and flexibility in solving customer problems
• Excellent customer service skills and the demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally navigate novel and tense situations in a customer service environment
• Ability to travel up to 5% domestically
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Requires a favorable motor vehicle upon hire
• Additional work hours including weekends and holidays as required

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience supporting an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Experience in VB, Java, XML, SQL, C, JavaScript, or PERL and exposure to JBoss, Websphere, Tomcat or Apache
• Experience administering TeamCenter – SAP integration (TESIS), middleware
• Experience with Teamcenter Active Workspace
• Demonstrated experience in installation, administration, support and management of any active Windows server environment that includes services such as Active Directory, application, file and print servers
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure AD, Umbraco, SQL Server, virtualization, and IIS
• Experience using DevOps/Infrastructure as Code tools such as ADO, Jenkins, Puppet, and Salt
