Wheel Loader Operator
Job Description
Responsible for ensuring that all incoming wood dust loads are properly received, recorded, tested for quality compliance and off loaded safely. Responsible for maintaining feed to the pellet manufacturing process and attending to the associated conveying and separation equipment.
Responsibilities:
1. Monitors truck unloading for fiber type.
2. Ensures loads are properly weighed and documented.
3. Move fiber to correct areas.
4. Get a sample bag of fiber and run test M & A.
5. Maintain proper mix for running.
6. Keep wet bins fed with prescribed mix for blend running at the time .
7. Clean abort rockbin and screener area as needed.
8. Keep loader maintained and clean.
Hourly
1. Check rock trap bin and empty if needed.
2. Check wet bin feed belts for buildup.
3. Clean under belts if you can if not radio for help.
Findings
Belt clean up , how much cleaned up.
Other Duties:
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Supervision Received:
This position takes direction from the Shift Foreman and s to the Production Supervisor.

Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information.
Conduct: Represents Dansons, LLC in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Physical Demands and Requirements:
· Must be able to lift and carry 50-pound loads.
· Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
· Must be able to work for long periods under a wide range of ambient conditions.
· Must be able to work flexible hours.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Must have experience in operation of forklifts, wheel loaders and material handling equipment and the demonstrated ability to operate in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
· Show a commitment to teamwork, being results oriented.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills and effective organizational skills.
· Ability to interact with co-workers, contractors and suppliers on a professional level.
Education Experience and Training:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Experience operating heavy equipment in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license.
