About the job

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will proactively identify talent in the market, mapping target organisations and sourcing high-calibre profiles through LinkedIn, social media, job boards and referrals in order to supply candidates for live vacancies and to build a talent pool for future needs. Outside of day to day recruitment and working to fill our live vacancies, you will strive to build talent pools within key identified areas to ensure efficiency in future recruitment processes and act as a partner to the business, building high value relationships with key stakeholders and playing a critical role in sourcing and selecting future talents for the Danone business.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to work in an engaged team with exciting ambitions. You will be able to deliver meaningful recruitment for the business and bring the best talent into Danone both through live recruitments and proactive talent pooling. You will also be involved in various pieces of project-related work and own certain areas of expertise within the team.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment delivery

• Support the Talent Manager (TM) with particular focus on the start of the recruitment cycle
• Identify candidates by way of headhunting and screening applications for live vacancies by utilising multiple sourcing strategies including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, employee recommendations, unlocking internal and external networking and organisation mapping
• Pre-screen all external applicants through telephone interviews and online assessments to provide a shortlist of candidates to the Talent Manager
• Responsible for end-to-end recruitment of junior managerial positions across topline roles, including process & interview organisation, competency-based interviews through to offer management
• Report and track conversion rates through each stage of the process
• Ensure all appropriate candidate checks are in place, including right to work permits, notice period/availability to start and current salary and package information
• Assist the Talent Manager in managing relationships with stakeholders, hiring managers & agencies where relevant

Talent pooling

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies aimed at generating proactive candidate flow to add to the pipeline
• Build effective external talent pools for your relevant functions. Build a CRM strategy for the external talent pool and keep candidates engaged through regular communication
• Think creatively to explore new methods of attracting candidates
• Feed the market with regular and engaging Danone content to help raise and maintain our profile and Employee Value Proposition in the market

Market insight

• Gather market insights and trends within the FMCG industry & talent attraction field and feed into the talent team and business as required
• Work with business stakeholders on competitor mapping and headhunting scenarios and methodology

Projects

• Lead & contribute to projects to continue to drive the function forwards for example targeting improving the candidate experience, driving Danone’s perception as an employer, optimising ways of working with agencies & across the team
• Work with the wider regional HR team on transversal topics such diversity & inclusion, line management hiring capability, onboarding, employee experience etc

About you

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A solid understanding of the recruitment process, including proven success in managing and sourcing a high volume of job requisitions
• Knowledge of how to use direct sourcing channels to develop candidate pipelines including your own network
• A strong ability to take ownership of the start of the recruitment process and successfully manage challenging assignments
• An ability to respond to business needs in an agile way and prioritise projects and business as usual accordingly
• Strong organisational, communication and time management skills
• An ability to build strong relationships quickly and leverage these relationships to drive results
• Evidence of managing a complex and varied range of stakeholders in an appropriate manner
• Experience of working within FMCG in the UK, familiarity with topline functions would also be an advantage
