Our successes mean we have a brand new position within our People Team: Head of Talent Acquisition. This role is a pivotal appointment for us and you will be leading on the recruitment provision for the whole of Dalcour Maclaren.

As the Head of Talent Acquisition you will:

• Proactively engage with key business stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of immediate and forecasted resource requirements of respective business areas
• Support senior management teams with the development of resource plans that enable the business to understand its current and future skill set and role requirements
• Have a thorough understanding of the business needs, develop resourcing strategies that enable Dalcour Maclaren to achieve a ‘front and centre’ position as an employer
• Establish realistic service levels to monitor and review performance of the recruitment activity, ensuring it is accurately reported and develop action plans that deliver required improvements
• Manage the resourcing budget to ensure appropriate spend and ‘average cost of recruitment’ is achieved in line with agreed targets
• Undertake monthly management of resourcing team, set objectives and conduct regular performance reviews
• Establish annual resourcing campaigns in respect of identified future talent e.g. graduates, apprentices, student placements and work experience
• Proactively identify target candidates with the purpose of supporting specific headhunting activities and building talent pools
• Work with our Marketing team to develop campaign resources and assets that support the delivery of the recruitment activity
• Develop attraction strategies that ensure key target audiences (professional expertise, skill set, career/life stages) are in place
• Deploy strategies into a meaningful plan that is deployed into the business and owned accordingly throughout the business
• Ensure all processes relating to the acquisition of talent are legally compliant, fit for purpose, maximise efficiencies and deliver a positive candidate/employee experience
• Support senior managers with the development of robust resource planning
• Ensure all individuals who are involved in the recruitment and selection process are appropriately trained and equipped with the tools and processes to ensure effective candidate selection

​The successful candidate will:

• Be working at a managerial/decision-making level within the field of recruitment
• Have demonstrable experience in develop meaningful relationships with external partners, such as agencies, educational and preferred suppliers, to ensure best rates of delivery and quality of candidates are achieved
• Be an excellent communicator with internal and external stakeholders
• Be highly organised and have a proactive approach to day-to-day tasks
• Have great IT skills & be confident with Microsoft products
• Be a great team player and have a can-do attitude
• Be a keen problem solver with excellent attention to detail
• Have an appetite to learn and develop

Salary is circa £45,000pa depending upon experience and location is primarily at our Head Office on the outskirts of Bicester, however we can be flexible upon this.
