Dakota Supply Group (DSG) is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist . This is a full time, salaried position. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will help lead DSG’s initiative to develop a multi-channel digital marketing strategy for DSG .

This position will work closely with other members of the Marketing team and the Marketing Director to improve and enhance DSG’s digital marketing platforms, maximize our facilities’ online presence and revenue, and ensure DSG maintains a competitive posture as it pertains to SEO rankings, digital advertising campaigns, promotions, and other customer-facing digital strategies.

This position is responsible for the development, release, and maintenance of social platforms to support the profitable growth of a best-in-class digital marketing strategy.

The Digital Marketing Specialist may work either a hybrid or fully remote schedule within DSG’s geographical footprint, including Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Digital Marketing Specialist :

• Manage all DSG’s social media platforms as well as Google My Business (GMB).
• Work closely and collaborate with internal teams including other members of the marketing team, sales and segment team, HR, and IT, to maintain and improve the user experience, support them, and create a best-in-class social media experience.
• Deliver a consistent brand image and customer experience that ensures all pertinent social media-related systems follow corporate branding guidelines, provide visual appeal, accuracy, and ease of use.
• Collaborate, own, and execute digital marketing campaigns on social and paid social platforms.
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing content and provide recommendations for enhancement.
• Analyze campaign success and provide insights to leadership including s and recommendations to optimize digital presence.
• Cultivate relationships with external agency partners.
• Lead client discovery sessions and interview key client stakeholders that support an effective digital presence.
• Conduct audience analysis and map customer journeys.
• Conduct content analyses for continued optimization of SEO / search results.
• Assist and advance DSG’s social media strategy including creating and owning posts and developing content calendar creation.

A Successful Digital Marketing Specialist Typically Has :

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S. / B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
• 2+ years of marketing experience
• Detail-orientated, analytical individual, with strong written / verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize analytical data into high-level summaries and communicate complex analyses to audiences ranging from peers to executives
• Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical abilities and a strong understanding of marketing and economic concepts related to driving traffic and revenue
• Content creation skills, experienced copywriting skills, and organizational skills
• Must possess strong attention to detail, as well as extraordinary customer service and project management skills
• Ability to align project KPIs with ing & custom tracking metrics
• Experience with social media and paid social media campaigns
• Proficient in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Excel
• Experience in ing tools, i.e. LinkedIn, Meta Business Suite / Ads manager, HubSpot : Google Analytics Certified preferred
• Foundational strategy experience – understanding an audience and recommending channels and message strategy
• Agency experience is a plus but not required
