Dakota State University Hiring for Transfer Admissions Specialist Job at Madison, SD Full Time

Dakota State University is seeking applications for a Transfer Admissions Specialist. The successful candidate will provide undergraduate transfer students with information regarding DSU’s educational programs, the admission and enrollment process, financial aid opportunities, and more. The position reports to the Director of Admissions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on campus and virtual admission visits.
• Attend regional transfer college fairs.
• Travel to and building relationships with regional community colleges and those colleges with which DSU has established articulation agreements.
• Develop communication plans and utilize CRM technology to manage student messaging.
• Assist in planning and executing new student registration and orientation sessions.
• Conduct preliminary transfer course evaluations.
• Provide expertise for transfer of dual credit courses.
• Partner with advising staff as a member of a transfer student’s success network.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Ability to travel as required by the position.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Superior time management and organization skills.
• Excellent customer service skills

Pay: $40,000.00 – $44,000.00 per year
