A new, exciting opportunity to join the Recruitment team at Daisy Corporate Services has arisen. The Recruitment Partner will work alongside our Recruitment Advisor to work closely with hiring managers throughout the business to deliver an outstanding recruitment service.
Job Description
Location: Nelson, Lancashire (home based until Daisy offices re-open)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours p/week – Mon-Fri 8:30am-17:30pm
The Recruitment Partner will work alongside the Recruitment Advisor to ensure that vacancies within DCS are filled promptly with suitable candidates with the correct key competencies and necessary aptitude to perform effectively in the role.
The Recruitment Partner will take full responsibility for ensuring that methods of attracting, selecting and recruiting candidates remain competitive and vibrant. You will seek creative solutions to proactively source candidates from alternative sources. In this role, you will run specialised recruitment campaigns, attend careers events and utilise Social Media to ensure creative methods of candidate attraction.
In this role you will take full ownership of the company Preferred Supplier List, and support hiring managers in their use of recruitment agencies when required.
You will work with our hiring team to advertise roles, provide role description and briefs, schedule interviews, provide candidate feedback and build key relationships so we always deliver an outstanding service, sourcing the best possible talent for DCS.
Within this role you will utilise our Applicant Tracking System and Job Boards to ensure a seamless recruitment process.
This vacancy would be ideal for a candidate that has worked within a fast paced recruitment environment previously and is looking to further their career.
Establish and maintain excellent working internal relationships with hiring managers to support the successful application of the recruitment and selection process within agreed time frames, budget and best practice.
Build key stakeholder relations within HR and the L&D team, team managers and Daisy employees
Keep all relevant recruitment information up to date
Develop ideas to ensure that DCS is to be an employer of choice.
Keep up to date with salary surveys and advising hiring managers regarding the labour market.
Assist in writing job descriptions, advertisements and utilise our applicant tracking system/job boards effectively.
Support with candidate interviews and advising hiring managers in terms of compliance and employment legislation.
Manage the communication with the hiring managers, candidates and any relevant third parties, including scheduling interviews, delivering feedback, making offers and confirming start dates.
To assist with large scale recruitment projects, events and campaigns
To manage the PSL
Be vigilant for possible fraudulent activity and if necessary raise a security incident report using the template accessible via the corporate Intranet.
Periodically review Daisy Security Policies – centrally hosted on the Intranet – to ensure full compliance with current legal, regulatory and company requirements.
Carry out any ‘ad hoc’ assignments as and when required.
To be compliant with health and safety company policy and legislation.

Proven team player
Must have demonstrable experience of recruiting at all levels as well as having strong interviewing and interpersonal skills with a disciplined approach to systems and administration.
Ability to think creatively, flexibly and resourcefully to define new means of candidate attraction via Social Media, recruitment campaigns, assessment centres and careers events.
Excellent working knowledge of Employment Law within recruitment and right to work.
Proven interview technique including formulation of competency-based questions.
Proven capabilities in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload.
Experience of working in a fast paced environment
Well organised.
Ability to work flexibly, with initiative and be adaptable in a continuously evolving environment.
A natural and effective communicator (verbal and written) with the ability to build credible relationships quickly and influence all levels.
Proven ability to work well under pressure and respond to challenging priorities with a sense of urgency.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to initiate action and influence others.
Ability to make sound judgements fairly and equitably.
