Dairy Fountain Inc. Hiring for Sanitation Technician (Night Shift) at Mississauga, ON Full Time

Sanitation equipment, as well as provides relief coverage in other areas of the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Manual cleaning of the tanks, parts, equipment and processing areas. Conduct CIP (clean in place) washes of systems.
• Complete documentation for food safety and maintenance related tasks
• Cross-train to learn how to use equipment and machinery in various areas of the plant
• Provide relief coverage for other positions and plant staff
• Food Safety & Quality responsibility as outlined in SOPs & other training materials provided and accurate record keeping

Qualifications:

• Previous food, beverages or dairy manufacturing experience required
• Previous experience working on a production line an asset
• Experience in process cleaning, sanitation
• Mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting ability
• Good communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team
• Self motivated with the ability to multi-task
• Physically capable of performing the demands of the job (lift 60lbs, repetitive tasks)
• Must be punctual and diligent
• Flexible to cover various shifts, vacation or illness relief as required

Working Environment: Regular exposure cold temperatures, humidity and dry conditions.

Physical Demands: Standing, sitting and walking. Moderate lifting of materials up to maximum 60lbs.

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
