Description:

Responsible for providing effective, accurate and timely customer service for all customers as well as team members by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members, outside sales representatives, peers, managers, and management. Responsible for the entire cycle of a transaction from placing the order to the delivery ensuring customer satisfaction and order accuracy. Assist customers as needed. When necessary, assume either position as needed and/or directed to achieve company’s daily output needs.

• Assist the team in achieving sales goals.
• Process an order from its inception to delivery.
• Responding to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email or chat
• Identifying customer needs and helping customers use specific features.
• Provide creative design and innovation ideas to each customer.
• Keep current with trends and designs in the market.
• Prove to be an effective team member by always helping fellow associates and considering every branch just as important a customer as the ones it the showroom.
• Immediately educate yourself on current products by studying launch documents and familiarize yourself with the GST product assortment.
• To achieve the highest level of customer service and provide top quality merchandise while simultaneously generating sufficient profit to advance the company technologically and elevate the company’s prominence in the industry.
• Attend al/ any necessary training.
• Learn GST processes and procedures including all computer programs including but not limited to Navigator & Selection Sheet Manager and any future programs necessary to build growth.
• Learn the 12-step process of a commercial sale and be proficient in providing quotes with freight if necessary.
• Learn the SSM procedures and system to ensure proper follow up with each and every customer.
• Continually build referral business, by regularly following up and building relationships with existing branch trade contacts (Designers, Builders, Contractors, Kitchen/Bath, etc.). List will be provided.
• Follow best practices for all follow up on Digital Leads provided.
• Be flexible with scheduling when needed to ensure the location has sufficient coverage at all times.

Qualifications:

1 Year + Experience each in both Sales and Customer Service positions.
High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
Excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Clerical Duties & Customer Service Skills; Good Communication Skills.
Language Ability: Ability to write; ability to read procedure manuals; ability to respond to questions from management, employees and customers.
Dependability: Good attendance record and ability additional hours if needed.
Fast-Paced, Able to efficiently multitask.
