Distribution Center Forklift Operator

Position Summary: Provides exceptional customer service through the process of inventory management and auditing. Works directly with supervisor throughout shift to ensure the accuracy of inbound and outbound orders. Accurate control of inventory. Excellent verbal and written skills required. Outstanding organizational talents and basic understanding of the distribution process. Quality control is a necessity. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities:

Material Handler Duties

• Operate powered industrial trucks equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, or similar location.
• Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
• Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, or other transport vehicles.
• Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labels
• Accurately load and unload trailers within the standard time frame. This may require manually loading/unloading/re-palletizing of product.
• Paperwork will be completed accurately, neatly, and timely.
• Adhere to and follow all company safety procedures.
• Use of tablet and/or RF Scanner
• Quality Control.
• Occasional shift hours changes, including overtime, on short notice to accommodate customer service requests.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma is required
• Prior Forklift experience required
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
