Essential Functions: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)

• Performs general accounting functions which include general ledger, fixed assets, budgeting, inventory, and cost accounting.
• Performs general account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, employer’s benefit costs, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
• Supports the monthly, quarterly, and year end close process by managing deadlines and completing close activities as assigned with accuracy.
• Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization.
• Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
• Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
• Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
• Files tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
• Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
• Performs other required tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• 5+ years of accounting experience required
• CPA certification preferred
• Experience in manufacturing preferred
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic—self-motivated and results-driven
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Team player and can collaborate with other teams in the organization

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
