What you’ll do

Support the QC team with the inspection of finished fabricated mechanical components ensuring conformance with Vanrx specifications.

Routinely interact with engineering, operations, and warehouse team members.

Manage non-conformance and quality event processes utilizing exceptional verbal and written communication.

Participate in calibration, maintenance and storage of measurement instruments, torque tools, and calibration records.

Review engineering designs to ensure quality control requirements are addressed.

Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, such as implementing new processes and equipment.

Who you are

Skilled journeyman machinist with 5+ years experience in a quality role and knowledge of GD&T.

Exceptional attention to detail approach in performing work with the ability to communicate inter-departmentally in high-pressure situations.

Experience working in an ISO9001 environment, specifically within the supplier quality management process.

Self-motivated and independent with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Driven by a strong desire to contribute to and foster an environment that encourages, supports, and recognizes new ideas and initiatives.

Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, fabricated mechanical component knowledge, and aptitude.

Experienced CMM operator with Polyworks and/or Scanpak experience a highly desired asset.

Licensed NRCan XRF Operator Certification a highly desired asset.
