What you’ll do

Working with manufacturing, design, and product care team to identify and facilitate DFx improvements

Lead implementation of engineering changes for manufacturing, focused on electrical engineering.

Working as part of a product development core team to meet targets and deliverables.

Design work cell layouts and process flows.

Develop, maintain, and approve manufacturing work instructions and SOPs.

Provide maintenance of line support including investigation, analysis, and troubleshooting. to support root cause investigation and resolution of issues.

Direct the rework of non-conforming materials as required.

Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives within operations and its interconnected departments.

Developing and documenting best practices and manufacturing standards.

Perform ERP tasks to ensure accuracy of work order and system information.

Adhere to and provide active support to company policies and procedures.

Support supplier development activities Support other key company initiatives as required.

Who you are

Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering

Electrical Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong asset

Proven experience developing manufacturing layouts and process flows

Strong working knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts

Strong experience working with-in an ERP

Proven experience working with-in a collaborative deadline driven team

Demonstrated knowledge in safe work practices

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience working with NoMuda’s Visual Factory is an asset.

Experience in highly regulated environments such as pharma, medical and aviation is an asset.
