Based in beautiful Dallas (within walking distance to the Union Station), with over 1000 offices worldwide, we are a long-standing and very stable electrical wholesaler. With over 60 years of excellent service, we specialize in selling industry-leading products and services nationwide. Although we are a well-established company, our core values are still built around our small family-owned business. Due to growth, we are looking to add a skilled Junior SQL ETL Developer to our team.
What You Will Be Doing
– Develop and Maintain Ad-hoc and Automated reporting as well as QA
– Research Data related issues for Production and Reporting systems
– Maintain high standards of Data Quality and Integrity
– Develop and maintain documentation pertaining to projects and support
– Provide development and analytical support for SQL databases and SSIS packages
– Collaborate with Database and BI teams on reporting and best practices
– Related responsibilities including but not limited to the following: Data analysis, application data support, Troubleshooting Data related issues for multiple platforms such as SQL Server, Access and SAP
What You Need for this Position
2+ years of professional development exp.
You should know and have exp. with the following:
– SQL
– Support Experience working with or on an IT Help Desk preferably Supporting the use of Point of Sale applications
– Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills
– Ability and Willingness to work with already implemented programs for day to day support and management (i.e. Visual Studio, Ticketing System, AXO Soft, etc)
– Ability to communicate technical information to local and remote team members in a friendly, concise manner.
– Strong organizational, time management skills and attention to detail
– Comfortable working multiple task and with shifting priorities
– Ability to successfully collaborate with others of different skill sets, backgrounds and levels within and outside of the organization.
– domestic travel required
