Cyberclan Hiring for Bookkeeper -UK Job at London, England Full Time

Summary/Objective
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bookkeeper to join our dynamic Finance team at Cyberclan. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will manage all financial transactions for UK business, from fixed and variable expenses, cash applications, recording timely transactions. Responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and meeting month end deadlines.
Essential Functions

• Set up customers and vendors and maintain customers and vendor list
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable and accounts receivable’ data as per the internal processes
• Enter all vendor invoices and expense reports
• Match the Pos to vendor invoices
• Liase with purchase requestors and ensure all the receipts/ backup is received before entering the invoices
• Obtaining appropriate approval before paying the invoices
• Review SOWs with billing requests before generating invoices
• Prepare billing to customers and send timely customer invoices
• Creating POs to customers as required
• Reconcile vendor and customer account statements
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending invoice reminders and contacting clients
• Generate weekly AR aging reports detailing accounts receivable status
• Verifying discrepancies and resolving vendor invoices and customer billing issues
• Posting daily cash applications for outgoing and incoming payments
• Maintain all AP/AR filing
• Meet monthly close calendar deadlines
• Other duties as assigned

*Preferred Skills, Experience, Degrees or Certifications

• 2 years’ experience as a bookkeeper
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
• Experience with bookkeeping functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• BA in accounting, Finance, or relevant degree
• Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
