Let’s talk about the role and the Team:
As Cyara scales its products and the engineering organisation we’re looking for a talented and driven Software Engineer to join our Agile development team in Melbourne. You’ll be involved in the design, development, and support of the Cyara Automated CX Platform, while contributing to the replatforming of the architecture.

Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities:
Your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Work with the Product Owner, Tech Lead, and team members to define and expand the team’s roadmap and backlog
• Working within your team to design, develop, and deliver features following Agile best practices, on time and with quality
• Hands-on development of Cyara platform full-stack features and components
• Participate in technical discussions with developers within your team and across teams
• Providing developer support to cloud operations concerning CI/CD, production system troubleshooting and timely issue resolution

Let’s talk about your skills/expertise:

• Industry experience within the Telecom domain
• Industry expertise with VoIP, WebRTC, SIP, RTP, telephony protocols.
• Experience with Automatic Speech Recognition, Text To Speech, Speech to Text technologies. (e.g Google Voice, Microsoft(Nuance), Amazon Transcribe)
• Strong industry experience with ASP.NET, MVC5, Entity Framework, MS SQL Transact-SQL
• Exposure to messaging frameworks (e.g. MassTransit, RabbitMQ, gRPC, SQS)
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft .NET framework and programming experience in C#, JavaScript
• 2+ years’ experience in full stack development of large scale web applications using state of the art tools
• Experience with testing frameworks
• 2+ years’ experience in browser automation such as Cypress io, Selenium, Jest or similar
• Experience with working and promoting quality code with the intent of reducing bugs across the organisation
• Proven track record for contributing to positive change as an Agile team member
• A pro-active, quality-oriented self-learner, independent, and a great team player
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution and organisational skills
• A Degree in a related discipline (Computer Science or related field preferred) or equivalent Certification

Nice to have (or you are keen to learn):

• Familiarity with Cyara Platform is highly regarded.
