Design, develop, and maintain software applications using various development tools and techniques. Work with various operational personnel and with teammates to complete application development projects that meet or exceed business needs. The delivered applications must be easy to use and easy to maintain.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:

• Coordinate project activities, including managing assigned tasks across multiple projects.
• Perform application development tasks, including coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and maintenance.
• Perform system implementation duties such as writing user manuals and operating instructions, providing orientation and consultation for user departments, and monitoring performance of systems and programs.
• Perform systems analysis duties such as requirements definition and systems design.
• Assist in resolving operational problems.
• Learn and effectively apply strategic software development tools and techniques. Maintain knowledge of current technology and provide technical expertise regarding software development tools.
• Share knowledge of software development tools or techniques with other members of the organization through both formal and informal training.
• Perform tasks and activities according to project plans while keeping project leader apprised of status.
• Manage small projects as technical lead.
• Assume additional responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Three years software development or related IT experience.
• Working knowledge and experience with web-based .NET, JAVA, Angular, source code management and testing.
• Working knowledge of relational databases, preferably MSSQL and Oracle and Structured Query Language (T-SQL).
• Familiar with REST/API development.
• PowerShell/Unix shell scripting.
• Experience with data mitigations and application interfaces, preferably using web services architectures.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
