Talent Acquisition Recruiter

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the company. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.

This position reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition-Human Resources.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement overall recruiting strategy by studying company’s plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs
• Develop and update job descriptions and job postings
• Prepare and post jobs to appropriate sources
• Source and attract candidates through a variety of resources; research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting, while developing a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
• Improve and maintain the company website recruiting page to assist in recruiting. Research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment. Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
• Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees. Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
• Screen candidates’ resumes and employment applications
• Conduct telephone screenings
• Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, and experience
• Recommend top candidates to hiring managers
• Conduct reference checks
• Process job offers
• Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
• Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
• Promote company’s culture and reputation as “top place to work”
• Avoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
• Conduct trainings with hiring managers on needed topics, i.e., recruitment, interviewing, managing recruitment module, etc.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
• Provide analytical and well documented reports

Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-3+ years recruiting experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
