As part of our informatics program, we are increasingly supporting carers and clinicians to be able to continue to provide care effectively and safely, in a joined up way, by providing them with the access to the clinical records and notes they need, where ever they are and whenever they need them. Following Welsh Government support, the UHB are looking to appoint an additional software developer towork predominantly on PAS integration and API development to accelerate this critical programme.

The post will lead on the safe and reliable movement of data across the UHB and NHS Wales in a manner that ensures that the PAS databases are synchronised and accurate. To maximise the benefits and effectiveness of this work, this will be a collaborative position with Digital Health and Care Wales, with the tools developed contributing to the national NHS Wales architecture.
