CVS Health Hiring for Benefit Verification Specialist at Colorado Full Time

Coram/CVS Health is looking for a high-energy customer service professionals to join our Mt. Prospect team as Benefits Verification and Authorization Specialists! This rewarding opportunity allows you to work closely with our Patient Intake Coordinators and insurance providers to verify coverage for in-home IV specialty therapy for Coram’s patients. We believe that Benefit Verification and Authorization Specialists are a key part of creating a positive experience for our patients. In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for verifying benefit coverage and requesting authorization for payment with various insurance companies. You will share this information with our Sales and branch personnel in order to ensure excellent service for new home infusion patients.
As an Benefits Verification and Authorization Specialists you will…

• Maintain insurance authorizations for current patients.
• Re-verify insurance coverage for changes in medication orders.
• Research and follow up on authorization denials.
• Work closely with branch staff to collect additional information on Physician Orders.
• Scan and upload documents from insurance providers into electronic records system and notify appropriate departments.
• Submit changes to patient prescriptions in the system and obtain authorization for payment.

Typical work hours for this role are Monday – Friday, start time between 9:30-11am to end time of 5pm – 7:30PM, with an opportunity for over-time per business need.
Required Qualifications :

• Minimum 1 year experience working in a customer service or call center environment.
• Data entry experience.
• Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 17.00
Maximum: 27.90

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
