Job Summary:

This position uses company tools to match shippers and carriers together to the benefit of all using their networking, negotiating, and coordinating skills while building relationships and identifying opportunities in daily interactions. This position operates as part of a team comprised of: Account Executive, Account Manager, Truckload Freight Broker and Logistics Coordinators.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Process and enter incoming orders through phone or email

• Dispatch and track carriers on shipments assigned to you

• Negotiate spot rates, as needed

• Manage and communicate timelines and expectations with involved parties

• Use transactional communication to identify future opportunities and build relationship bonds

• Learn about and keep up with freight market conditions.

• Build relationships with carriers to expand your network

• As part of a team, coordinate efforts to grow existing customer relationships as well as adding new shippers and carriers.

• Skills – This position is all about communicating, coordinating, relationship building, and negotiating. Additionally, you need to demonstrate strong abilities in using many different computerized apps to gather and process information while communicating.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
