As a CNC Operator, you would be responsible for safely performing a wide range of tasks including overseeing the daily functions of manufacturing/fabrication machinery. The duties include running tests before the start of operations, safely loading, and unloading machines, conduct scheduled maintenance, monitoring machines when fabricating products and inspecting machinery at the end of each shift to identify parts needing repair.

Exceptional technical & problem-solving skills are important for
CNC Operator to identify fabrication quality issues and proceed with prompt repairs. Being able to work in a team setting and to complete objectives within a given timeframe is a must.

We Need Your Expertise!

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Good communication skills and able to take instruction.

· Fabricating stone materials such as granite, quartz, quartzite, marble, and soapstone by running the CNC router.

· Performs CNC routing – machine set-ups, adjusting speeds, feeds, and depth of cut, to machined parts to specifications set forth in drawings and/or engineering orders.

· Maintains specifications by observing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; editing programs; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

· Set-up for production and run two multi-axis CNC’s simultaneously at a high rate of efficiency, accuracy, and safety.

• Use overhead crane to load and unload slabs of granite and quartz on and off CNC machines.
• Appropriately supervise and operate CNC controls to ensure cuts and routes meet specifications.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Read a tape measure.
• Be on time.
• Pass drug test.
• Must have reliable transportation and good attendance.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Assuring that company equipment and materials are used properly.
• Other functions as directed by management.

Experience Desired:

• This position requires a minimum of one – (1 years’ experience) through on the job training or successful completion of an apprentice program.
• Required – CNC Operator has a current, and valid State of residence Driver’s License.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Must be able to perform all aspects of the assigned duties and tasks.
