Dev skills:
– You are proficient at JavaScript, TypeScript and Vue.js
– You have a solid understanding of MongoDB and CIC’s most common data structures within MongoDB
– You are comfortable with local and staging development for Valet, CIC’s software platform, including git operations (pull, feature branches)
– Your JS and TS proficiency enable you to improve core Valet interfaces like connection manager, data manager or report generation, and their related api models and types .
– You are comfortable with detailed MongoDB data sets and types. You are able to improve or extend current collections, or collaborate with others to design new collections.
– You are comfortable with local, staging and production development for Valet, CIC’s software platform
– You are comfortable reviewing others’ merge requests, pushing to master and pushing to production (with approval)
– You quickly identify, diagnose and resolve technical issues and bugs – especially those affecting end users
– You have a basic understanding of dev ops skills within Google Cloud and Google Kubernetes Engine

Team skills:
– You are a responsive communicator in CIC’s Slack channels
– You are comfortable with email communication and provide clear scheduling responses to calendar invitations
– You attend team meetings including the weekly dev standup, dev check in and occasional all-team meetings
– You are comfortable asking other team members for insight or technical guidance; you work faster and smarter by asking others for help when it makes sense
– You are present as a frequent and responsive resource in CIC’s Slack channels.
– You frequently ask others for help, guidance or an opinion; other team members are comfortable asking you for help as well
– You are a solid email communicator and schedule individual or team meetings when needed
– You use video communication when appropriate to strengthen relationships with other team members

Pay: $28.00 – $38.00 per hour
