Description:

Custom Ice Inc. is a Burlington based business that specializes in the design, manufacture and installation of refrigerated ice rink products and services.

We provide solutions for the private residential and commercial markets, from small backyard ice rinks, to full scale arenas and twin pads. We have the ability to design any rink, virtually anywhere, including splash pad/ice rink combinations, small sized training rinks and reflection pool/ice rink combos. Our products are enjoyed all over North America and Internationally.

Custom Ice Inc. is looking for full time “Ice Rink Installers and Supervisors” to help with construction and installation of outdoor and indoor ice rink products and accessories manufactured in our Burlington plant. Regular travel throughout Canada and the U.S. for up to 2 week periods will be required. Familiarity with general construction, plumbing or refrigeration would be an asset.

Full- time position with some evenings, weekends and overtime during peak season.

Benefits upon completion of three (3) month probationary period.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS POSITION:

· Candidates should have a minimum of 1-5 years previous landscape, pool, general labour or construction experience

· Preference will be given to candidates with experience in pipe fitting, plumbing, power tool operation or concrete work

· Any ice rink related experience would be a definite asset

· Capable of working independently and as part of a team

· Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

· Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

· Self-starter, confident, positive attitude

· Ability to travel within Canada and USA

· Valid driver’s license, vehicle and current driver’s abstract required
