The Instructional Designer plays a crucial role within our learning and development department. We rely on our instructional designer to create engaging coursework and eLearning media that stimulates the learners during training and beyond. The instructional Designer has numerous objectives; however, the primary function will be to collaborate with internal staff to author, conceptualize, design, and create highly interactive eLearning solutions that target learning objectives and improve performance.

Role Summary:

This is a contract position requiring the development of eLearning media from new and existing materials as provided by a variety of corporate and field personnel in collaboration with SVP of Corporate Development and Director of Administrative Operations & Training.

ELearning media will include training videos, PowerPoint presentations and other graphic presentations, online coursework, webinar presentations, job aids, and assistance in the development and management of a corporate LMS.

Education and Experience

• Graduated with a 2- or 4-year degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Online Learning or related field preferred

• Two plus years of experience required in a training environment that used instructional design to create eLearning

• Must have experience with rapid authoring development with tools such as Articulate Storyline and Captivate

• Experience with a LMS, preferably TalentLMS; Articulate

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PowerPoint

• Experience with Photoshop, illustrator, video, and audio editing software
