We are looking for a People and Culture Advisor to join our team where you will be supported and your contribution will make a real difference.

Reporting to the People and Culture Business Partner, the main purpose of this role is to provide support in all the aspects of the employee lifecycle. You will also get the opportunity to manage projects and programs end to end such as workers compensation, visa management, reward and recognition and administer the welcome packs for new starters.

The responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to the following:

• Providing guidance and advice to employees in relation to all P&C matters
• With support from the P&C Business Partner, manage instances of employee relations
• In partnership with P&C Business Partner manage workers compensation cases with leader, employee, and workers compensation insurer
• Oversee WHS for the organisation
• Support the P&C Business Partners in the annual P&C calendar of activities, such as performance and remuneration reviews
• Conduct and document Exit Interviews and oversee and manage welcome packs for new starters
• Holding monthly check in conversations with employees, as required, for example those with critical skills, classified as top talent or those in critical roles
• Manage the employee recognition programs throughout the organisation awards, quarterly and annual awards
• Partner with leaders, Talent Acquisition, and our immigration agency to understand and coordinate visa applications for employees and any ongoing monitoring required
• Liaising with leaders, Senior Manager, Remuneration and Payroll to manage and process any out of cycle bonus forms
• Any additional ad-hoc P&C administration requirements

About You

To be part of a friendly motivated team this role requires the successful candidate to have previous experience working in a People and Culture team in a similar role. You will have an understanding of Employee Relation legislation, experience managing WHS Claims and dealing with the Insurers throughout the process. Together with your excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder engagement your ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines will see you thrive in this role. A relevant tertiary qualification in HR or equivalent work experience is essential and experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable.
