We are an unlisted public company and one of five licensed banks in Australia with full direct connectivity and production capability across all domestic payment systems. Whilst the major banks leverage this capability for their consumer and business clients, our B2B model focuses on enabling other banks, fintech’s and corporates to deliver innovative and competitive payment and digital solutions to their clients and customers
This role will support the Business Unit Finance Manager across both BAU and Transformation program deliverables to ensure the delivery of quality advice and information to support key stakeholders and assist with the implementation of the Cuscal’s transformation program into the Business Unit Finance teams.

The responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to the following:

• Cuscal transformation program, assisting with delivery of the new financial reporting requirements and cost allocation model development and driving new Ways of Working within Finance
• Drive the development of Product Profitability model under the new transformed product model
• Assist ad-hoc monthly BAU financial performance reporting for key stakeholders
• Deliver monthly Client Funding updates and drive process improvements because of the Cuscal transformation program
• Assist with reviewing business cases and PEMs from BUF team.
• Assisting with year-end reporting
• Assisting with budgets and forecasting
• Ad hoc projects and process improvements, including input into product pricing models and analysis

About You

In this role within our BUF space the role requires the successful candidate to have strong analysis, management accounting and financial modelling skills. You will also bring your ability to understand business objectives and drivers and how they translate into financial measure.

As the successful candidate you will have advanced analytical skills, including the ability to identify when data and analysis is materially incorrect and obtain solutions. With your business partnering and stakeholder influencing skills you will have the opportunity to work autonomously to drive business outcomes.

A relevant university degree will be essential with more than 7 years’ experience, banking/finance and pricing experience will be highly regarded.
