Job Summary

When clients switch from a competitor to start using our dental software, they usually need to bring their data with them. This position is responsible for the ETL (Extract Transform Load) process of getting the data converted from the competitor into our software.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain oversight and ownership of the entire conversion process for a given client
• Manage conversion schedules with clients and Implementations
• Educate and manage process expectations of client
• Develop mapping requirements, test plans and seek approval of clients
• Filling out client-facing forms and documentation detailing process and exceptions
• Retrieve data from the client’s machine
• Run the extraction processes (E) for known systems in order to get client data into an intermediate state ready to be transformed
• Scrutinize and transform data (T) after extraction and before import
• Load (L) transformed data into Hero and confirm quality
• Phone calls with clients to review data
• Ensure client interactions are logged and all CRM records are kept up to date
• Assist clients to diagnose and solve data problems
• Provide assistance across all departments
• Other roles and responsibilities as determined or changed by Curve management

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with MS Excel Spreadsheets, specifically with excel functions, macros, and formulas
• 2 years of experience with ETL. Data Integration and Data Quality Tools Skills Experience using industry standard ETL and/or data quality tools such as Monarch, Actian (Pervasive) Data Integrator or other ETL tools
• Experience with scripting in SQL languages highly preferred
• Communication including: handling difficult clients understanding others and responding appropriately
• Ability to support conversions occasionally after normal business hours

Preferred Experience:

• Degree, Diploma, Certificate in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent relevant work experience
• IT or Computer Science certificates a plus
• Experience implementing and managing data profiling, data assessment, data quality analysis, and data mapping
• Experience with relational databases,Btrieve, Ctree and other database types
• Experience with systems that deal with dental or medical data
