We are looking to hire a Financial Accountant to join our CFO Function. Working in the Accounting and Control Centre of Excellence function you will be a key member of the Services Finance team with accountability around the Controls and processes underpinning the services business delivery across Customer support agreements, Insurance, Value Chain & AVS propositions. This role will offer the chance to gain an in depth understanding of the Services Operation, working closely with various internal stakeholders including the Services Finance BP’s & Head of Underwriting

As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Ensuring that the Services Accounting process adheres to a strict Control framework and develop and implement the key controls to support any future product development in the Services area
• Providing high quality management accounting for the area, including period end accounting, and management information.
• Supporting the production & review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all Services accounts, ensuring formal reviews with the team is completed every month.
• Bordereau production & review for each market, ensuring cash collection and claims costs are accurately reflected.
• Supporting the Services Finance Business partner to build motivating yet challenging budgets/ short-term reforecasts and working with the business on a regular basis to highlight opportunities and ri
• Identifying opportunities to identify opportunities to drive business profit, cost savings, cash performance and operational efficiencies
• Providing ad-hoc analysis to enable Category and Commercial teams to deliver their strategy.

You will need:

• Strong academics from a reputable university
• Recognised Accountancy Qualification ACA, CIMA or ACCA (or equivalent) with relavent experience gained within an Accounting department, preferably at a large complex organisation
• Highly organised and structured, ability to forward plan to ensure personal and team deadlines are achieved
• An ability to influence senior business partners to challenge business performance
• An ability to analyse and understand complex data and situations to recommend the optimal solution
• Able to prioritise own workload in a fast-paced environment and good at working under pressure
