Finance Analyst

12 month FTC

Role is to support the UK finance function in the accounting and financial control of iD mobile, assisting the Financial Controller – iD and Multiplay and iD Finance Manager in producing the monthly Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow for iD mobile. The role will include the modelling of customer performance and supporting with the budgeting and forecasting of the business.

As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:

Accounting and Control

• Assisting the iD Finance Manager in the production of the monthly Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Account.
• Helping the team with compliance with group accounting policy and supporting internal and external audits.
• Responsible for ensuring that all key financial controls are in place.
• Month end process – processing journals and reporting on budget variances.
• Assisting with the production of Risks and Opportunities.
• Production of monthly reporting on key iD financial KPI’s.

Commercial Modelling

• Production and ownership of monthly models which track customer activity in relation to iD Mobile.
• Maintaining these customer models and reviewing these with the Financial Controller – iD and Multiplay
• Partnering with commercial team in ensuring that inputs to models are delivered on time and that any responses to data questions are delivered in a timely manner

.FP&A

• Assisting with the production of the Budget and Short-Term forecasts.

You will need:

• Degree EducateD
• CIMA/ACCA qualified
• 0-2 Years PQE
• Experience of Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow production.
• Excellent data and Excel skills including reporting, modelling and analytics using large, complex data sets.
• Working knowledge of current accounting practices and standards.
• Happy to work in a fast paced, reactive commercial environment.
