Cumming Group Hiring for Project Accountant Job at New York, NY Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Take over the Excel file we have been using to track financial aspects of every consultant’s engagement. This requires at least intermediate Excel skills. Advanced skills would be great to utilize graphs and charts.
• Solid understanding of the budget, commitments, payables, forecast, variance analysis.
• Be able to review AIA forms from contractor.
• Validate invoices against executed agreements.
• Resolve any issues with consultants regarding outstanding invoices.
• Prepare accruals and answer any questions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or commensurate experience.
• 1-5 years in a Project Accountant role within the construction industry.
• Sound understanding of general accounting principals.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines.
