Our Education and Care team are looking for a number of OOSH Educators to join the team! This role is responsible for undertaking the day to day operations of the centre and the Educator OOSH must be committed to educate and nurture children from all communities to be respectful, resilient and confident by providing an environment that is accepting, safe and inspiring.
The role is key in developing key relationships with Education and Care staff, other Council staff, children and their families, and is part of a multidisciplinary team where positive communication is paramount.
Reporting to the Centre Director – OOSH, this position will also maintain a clean and safe learning environment that nurtures and inspires children to explore and engage in rich, meaningful experiences which allows them to continue to construct their understanding of the world.

Position information: We have multiple permanent and term contract, part-time positions available. All positions will be rostered from Monday to Friday between the hours 6:00am to 6:00pm and will include split shifts.
These positions are located at Ringrose OOSH, Parramatta West OOSH, Sherwood Grange OOSH, and Guildford West OOSH, but may be required to work across any of Council’s 14 Education and Care centres.

Salary information: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
Council fully supports the aims and objectives of NSW Child Protection Legislation, and associated provisions, and will implement all necessary measures to ensure a safe and supporting Council environment, which endeavours to promote child safe child friendly practices.
