Cultus Lake esso is Looking for Cashier/Customer Service Full Time

To ensure success in this position, the candidate will need to have a good understanding of transactions involving cash, debit and credit with previous experience in the service sector.

Preference will be given to people who have worked in a gas station and/or convenience store before.

In addition to these qualities, we require the candidate to have the following abilities:

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service at all times
• Scan merchandise accurately
• Describe current promotions and advertisements to customers
• Handle payments by cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit
• Use electronic scanners, cash register, or computers
• Give receipts, refunds, credits and assist customers
• Must be very detail oriented
• Open and close till at the beginning and end of each shift
• Ensure that safe work practices are followed including using proper lifting techniques and keeping the register area clean
• Lifting involved as well for putting away product orders

The candidate for this position must have the following skills and requirements:

• Basic math skills
• Detail oriented with a positive attitude
• Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written

• Must be punctual, dependable and hard working
• Self-confident, personable, energetic personality
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanour

Pay dependent on experience, with room to move up quickly, based on performance for hardworking, loyal staff.
