Reporting to the Company Accountant, the Assistant Account will be for a candidate that wants to learn and develop quickly within an experience and supportive Finance team. The successful candidate would also have the support of development opportunities, such as support in attaining professional accountancy qualifications. Based at our Lurgan site, they will be responsible for:

  • Handle and process customer orders and price enquiries smoothly
  • Hands on responsibilities of all aspects of a busy Finance department as well as getting significant exposure to the broad business
  • Day to day accounting tasks; monthly reconciliations and ad-hoc analysis
  • Reviewing and posting of cashbook entries
  • Bank reconciliations
  • VAT reporting
  • Group reporting of submissions
  • Generation of journals
  • Review and analyse ledgers
  • Ad-hoc tasks and analysis across the Finance department
